Synopsis
Measure Of Time is an intimate and sensitive portraiture of living life with kidney failure and dialysis.
This immersive documentary shares the day to day life stories and tribulations about those whose very survival depends on a pump, a blood filtration device. Time is restructured between two worlds. An invisible one where we slip away behind the curtains of an unremitting disability that requires setting aside life hours, measured on a weekly basis. Then there is the visible world, where we may return to if only for what seems to be a brief moment in time before we must slip away, yet again.
Measure of Time is about combating a disease through acceptance and hope. It’s about making two worlds coexist as seamlessly as possible, when possible as we wait our turn for a transplant.
