Cine AI’st are creators who prefer editing to filming. Their approach to directing is not that of a troupe leader, but rather that of a painter or a solo musician.
Working alone or in small teams, they handle the writing, visual direction, editing of image and sound, color grading, mixing, and sometimes voice-overs and musical composition.
To help them do this, AI-powered tools have improved significantly
in just a few short years. They now offer a level of sophistication and control that makes it possible to develop true narratives and opens up new avenues for filmmakers.
Since these tools simplify certain technical aspects of the creative process, more time can be devoted to brainstorming ideas.
And it is up to human sensory intelligence to know how to stimulate and then detect the embryos generated by these machines in order to nurture them, combine them, correct them, and bring them closer to the soul of the one who manipulates them.
Finally, these mindless machines spur the renewal of human thought. They offer new opportunities for the unexpected— something so valuable to a creative person.

Karolina Bomba, Founder & President of the World Film Festival in Cannes and member of Femmes Leaders Mondiales Monaco, partner of the festival, will be dressed by Isabell Kristensen — Danish-born couture fashion designer whose creations have appeared at some of the world’s most prestigious events, including the Oscars, Golden Globe Awards, BAFTA, Royal Ascot, and major international film premieres.
Among the personalities she has dressed are Nicole Kidman, Kate Winslet, Paris Hilton, Helena Christensen, Shania Twain, Katy Perry, Liza Minnelli, Tina Turner, Dame Shirley Bassey, and the late artist Prince, as well as members of Royal families worldwide. Isabell Kristensen was also honored with the Woman of the Year 2026 award presented by Femmes Leaders Mondiales Monaco.
